With so many quality bars around the country, it means a great deal to be labeled as “the best.” From the menu and cocktail quality to the atmosphere and bar teams, a lot goes into being recognized at the top of the industry. Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards have become one of the most prestigious and coveted honors a bar can attain.

In 2017, the Columbia Room in Washington, D.C. took the home the Spirited Award for Best American Cocktail Bar. Perlick was honored to have the Tobin Ellis Signature Cocktail Station as a part of the Columbia Room.

This year, Seattle’s Navy Strength tiki bar was named the Best New American Cocktail Bar in the 2018 Spirited Awards. Navy Strength, located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, beat out some of the biggest names in the cocktail world.

The tiki bar, referred to as “a funky Seattle paradise,” offers tropical cocktails from renowned Seattle bartenders, Anu and Chris Elford, which range from “classic tiki drinks, modern tropical explorations, and a special travel section focusing on the flavors and service styles of other countries around the world.”

We are thrilled to see Navy Strength receive such a high honor. The award-winning bar includes two Tobin Ellis Signature Cocktail Stations and a Modular Bar.

Another Spirited Awards winner this year was Broken Shaker in Miami for Best American Hotel Bar. Broken Shaker’s newest outpost in New York City also features the Tobin Ellis Signature Cocktail Station as part of its repertoire.

We are thrilled to see so many award-winning bars include Perlick equipment like the Tobin Ellis Signature Cocktail Station. Designed by a bartender, for bartenders, it’s our goal to have the Tobin Ellis Signature Cocktail Station help every bar set the industry standards.
